Honey Balsamic Roast Recipe
When I think of chuck roast I always think of pot roast. Meat, carrots, and potatoes... and lots of it. Though it's an easy, hearty meal, it's just not very exciting. I have been on a search for new, more exciting chuck roast recipes, and I have found a winner! This Honey Balsamic Beef recipe is even more simple than pot roast to make, and I think it's much tastier. You can even put to use the bone broth recipe from my last post.
Ingredients:
1 (3 lb) Chuck Roast
1 Cup Beef Broth
1/2 Cup Balsamic Vinegar
1 1/2 Tablespoons Worchestire Sauce
1 Tablespoon Honey
4 Cloves Garlic, chopped
Salt & Pepper to taste
Equipment:
Crockpot
Process:
1. Place chuck roast in crockpot.
2. Dump remaining ingredients in crockpot.
3. Set crockpot to High for 4 hours or Low for 6-8 hours.
4. Once cook time is up, remove beef from crockpot and shred beef with two forks.
5. Take the remaining juices and place on sauce pan. Simmer until liquid is reduced in half. This will create a flavorful au jus for the beef.
